Your group is assigned a private driver/guide who will lead your tour. You may encounter other travelers separate from your group within the factories
ITINERARY:
You will be collected from your centrally located Bologna hotel / or your guide will meet you in the city center in the morning
We will visit a Parmigiano Reggiano cheese factory where you will see a live cheese making demonstration and sample cheese from various stages of the aging process.
Next, visit an “Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale di Modena” producer where you will learn the process of making balsamic vinegar. You will have an opportunity to sample a variety of vinegars with accompanying local products
Our next stop will be a Proscuitto factory with over 50 varieties of ham. Some produced on site, as well as a curation of product from other Italian and broader European regions
The visit ends with a tasting of cured meats, cheese with the Tigelle, the local bread, served hot.
